Nassau County Judgment Computer
Screen A is the main menu for the judgment computer. Enter the search name without any punctuation. It is recommended that with a search name of "FRANK SMITH", enter just the last name. This computer then will list all the entries with the name "SMITH". If the name you are searching does not appear, F7 and F8 will display the prior page or next page of names. When the search name appears, write down the name and docket date. Go to the monthly judgment books under the computers and pull out the book corresponding to the docket date of your search. Turn to the docket date and information about the judgment will be listed including the case number the judgment stemmed from, the creditor and the attorneys, for the creditor. Note screen B includes satisfaction information.
